In her lecture, Joanna frota Kurkowska will talk about the implications AI has on both the creative space and the infrastructure in the music space in which AI fraud, musical pastiche, and vibrant creativity collide.

About Joanna frota Kurkowska:

Joanna frota Kurkowska works as the Head of Strategic Research at Zaiks Lab where she conducts researches on music, sound and entertainment’s future with a focus on distribution, licensing, royalties and overall market conditions. Previous positions include Insights & Trade Strategist at G2A.com and Game Analyst at Outlier Ventures where she was involved in tech, market, entertainment, web3 & gaming-oriented strategic researches.

The future of entertainment, digital assets, content distribution and internet communities are the main focuses of her current research. Apart from that, she's constantly studying Composable Culture, a term used to describe the mixture that is: the future of entertainment, gaming, and digital culture mixed with concepts such as AI, Web3, and Creator Economy.

She's also the co-host of „Wycinki z przyszłości” , a podcast about trends & tech, is the author of the first Polish newsletter on Web3 culture, called „Digital Data Glitch” and lead writer on "NetspherePop", a collection of thoughts on Composable Culture. Since 2024, she teaches „Future gaming and digital entertainment” as a part of „Trendwatching & future studies” at Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza in Cracow.
